Having resided in the Sonoran desert of Tucson, Arizona for many years, I developed a profound appreciation for its raw allure, which ultimately became the cornerstone of my creative expression.

In the mid-'90s, I embarked on a journey with acrylic paints, capturing the ethereal essence of the desert through vibrant landscapes adorned with sweeping skies and iconic cacti. These early experiences sculpted my artistic vision and ignited a passion for translating the spirit of the desert onto canvas.

Five years ago, I found myself drawn to the rugged charm of the Gila region, where I discovered a new wellspring of inspiration. This shift in environment has profoundly influenced the evolution of my artwork, infusing it with fresh perspectives and a renewed sense of vitality.

At the heart of my process lies an intimate connection with my medium. Utilizing a paintbrush no wider than 3mm, I meticulously craft each stroke, dedicating countless hours to the intricate linework that defines my pieces.
